About the NDIS in Gippsland VIC

As at the 2016 Australian census, Gippsland had a population of 271,266, with the principal population centres of the region, in descending order of population, being Traralgon, Moe, Warragul, Morwell, Sale, Bairnsdale, Drouin, Leongatha, and Phillip Island.

Local NDIS information

The NDIS rolled out in this region in 2017 and 2018 and all eligible Victorians have access to it. According to the NDIS , as at 31 Dec 2022 there are more than 8000 active NDIS participants in the Greater Gippsland area.
